25th August 2008 – Pre-Wrath content patch announced!
Just like Patch 2.0.1, Blizz will be pushing a pre-Wrath content patch including: new spells, abilities and talents, Inscription, barbershops, two new arena maps, the in-game Guild Calendar, the hunter pet talent revamp, Stormwind Harbor and the new zeppelin towers! 21st August 2008 – Wrath of the Lich King opening cinematic released!
The opening cinematic for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King was unveiled at the Games Convention in Leipzig, and is also available for viewing on both the US and EU websites.

BlizzCon tickets are now sold out! For the lucky few of you who bought them, enjoy! Go meet other WoW players and fans of Blizzard games in Anaheim, CA on October 10th-11th, 2008! Be there for the big Blizz announcement! Watch the dance competition! Play Wrath and SC2 (and maybe even Diablo 3!) See Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain play live! Maybe even run into a WoWWiki admin or three!
22nd July 2008 – Beta access for BlizzCon attendees, Blizz urges quick registration
