PvP token

PvP tokens are items that can by used like currency for PvP rewards. The number and type of these tokens proliferated (mostly tokens for individual battlegrounds) with the introduction of Burning Crusade and early Wrath of the Lich King, but most were removed as items as the Cataclysm release neared.

As of only the following PvP tokens remain:

• [Mark of Honor Hold] - earned in Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh for Alliance Players.
• [Mark of Thrallmar] - earned in Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh for Horde Players.
• [Halaa Battle Token] - earned when killing players surrounding Halaa in Nagrand.^{[citation needed]}
