Patch 3.3.3 removed the ability to obtain a Mark of Honor (excluding Wintergrasp Mark of Honor) from nearly all battlegrounds. Unless you have marks in your bank that you earned but never redeemed, this quest cannot be completed.

Description[]
We're not fighting isolated battles against the Horde anymore, <lad/lass>.
Victory in one front means denying the Horde resources they'd use against us in a different battle. By the same token, abandoning any given battle could give the advantage to our opponent somewhere else around the world.
The Alliance is in need of more combatants with this sort of worldly understanding... truly seasoned veterans! <name>, come back to me after you've served against the Horde at all of our active battlegrounds.

As of patch 3.2 this quest requires a mark from all of the available battle grounds. This requirement is based upon the level of the character. At level 80 it requires AV, AB, WSG, EotS, SotA and IoC.
Patch 3.3.3 removed the ability to obtain a Mark of Honor (excluding Wintergrasp Mark of Honor), and thus this quest is impossible to complete once all remaining marks have been redeemed.
