Draenor's Secret Power is a part of the legendary quest chain which ends in the player gaining possession of a legendary ring. This particular quest becomes available after the player has completed a number of preceding quests for Khadgar.

Objectives

• Gather 4986 [Apexis Crystals] for Archmage Khadgar. Crystals can be found amongst creatures in the most dangerous parts of the world.

Description

Since we're going to be working so closely together, I'd like to upgrade that ring of yours. Ancient magics are the key: apexis crystals, the leftover remains of an earlier arakkoa civilization! They can be found among the most dangerous creatures around the world.

Collect 4986 crystals for me.

Don't look at me like that. I'm a mage. I did the math. I need exactly 4986 crystals. 4985 is inadequate. 4987 is of course absurd.

Four thousand, nine hundred eighty-six. Go!

Notes

• This quest can be accepted and worked on at the same time as Core of Flame, Core of Iron and Core of Life, but all four quests need to be completed before a player can progress further along the quest chain.
