Legacy of the Sorcerer Kings is part of the legendary quest chain which ends in the player gaining possession of a legendary ring. This particular quest begins after players have partially assembled and upgraded their ring to epic quality by entering several heroic Draenor dungeons to gather items for Khadgar. This quest (and the other, which can be completed simultaneously) begin "Chapter 2" of the legendary chain.

• Collect 125 [Abrogator Stones] from creatures in Highmaul.
  

Your garrison followers may also be able to locate stones in certain missions.

Description

For over a thousand years, the ogre sorcerer kings maintained an iron grip over their empire using a variety of artifacts. Trusted lieutenants were given magical gems that allowed them to enforce the emperor's will out in the field. These "Abrogator Stones" still maintain their power even today, and can be found scattered throughout the Highmaul complex. Sometimes in clusters.

Collect 125 of these Abrogator Stones for me!

Progress

Do you have the stones? I never thought I'd turn to ogres for magical might, but those ancient Sorcerer Kings knew a thing or two about raw arcane energy that would keep Kirin-Tor scholars busy for ages.

Completion

<Khadgar holds some of the stones up to the light, allowing narrow filaments of arcane energy to spiral from stone to stone.>

Notes

There are four ways that players can collect [Abrogator Stones]:

• Abrogator Stones and [Abrogator Stone Clusters] drop off the bosses in Highmaul.
• Garrison Work Orders have a very slight chance of generating a stone.
• Five separate rare follower Missions provide three abrogator stones as a reward.
• Kluk'Kluk at either Lion's Watch or Vol'mar in Tanaan Jungle will offer the weekly legendary quest "Abrogator Arbitrator" if you are currently working on this quest. For 14958 [Apexis Crystals], he will give you 5 [Abrogator Stone Clusters], which break into 25 [Abrogator Stones].

Patch 6.2.2 (1-Sep-2015): Added a quest in Tanaan Jungle to help obtain these items.
