Might of the Elemental Lords is part of the legendary quest chain which ends in the player gaining possession of a legendary ring. This particular quest is picked up along with the quests: Heart of the Fury, Flamebender's Tome and Reverse Piracy, which can be completed simultaneously. This part of the quest chain sees the player venture into Blackrock Foundry to gather items of power to use in upgrading the ring.

Objectives

• Collect 3 [Elemental Tablets]. Assemble the tablets by collecting [Elemental Runes] from bosses in the Blackrock Foundry.

Description

Somehow, the Blackrock Clan has forged an alliance with the creatures of fire and stone. I must know how!

Search the entirety of the Blackrock Foundry. We are looking for stone tablets dating back to the prehistory of Draenor. They will likely be broken apart into fragments that you'll need to assemble by hand. Look for elemental runes carried by high-ranking members of the Iron Horde.

Assemble them and bring me those tablets, <name>. I will use their power to augment the powers of your ring!

Progress

I've been able to spend some time studying the prehistory of Draenor. Primal elemental forces competed with each other to shape the world in what is known as the Age of Colossals. Their descendants still fight to this day, especially in regions such as Gorgrond.

Those tablets you're assembling will reveal the forces at work during the era... and more importantly, they will allow us to control and channel those forces, just as the Blackrock do today!

Completion

You've got the tablets. Good, good! It must've been very time-consuming to assemble these - not to mention dangerous. I am lucky to have you.

I see no reason to delay. Show me your ring. Yes... I can do this. Let's put these tablets to use and enhance your power.

Notes

• It takes 300 [Elemental Runes] to create a [Elemental Tablet], a total of 900 runes are therefore needed to complete the quest.
• There are four additional ways in which players can collect Elemental Runes:

- Garrison Work Orders have a very slight chance of generating a rune.

- Six rare follower Missions provide runes stones as a reward.

- Four legendary shipyard Missions each provide runes stones as a reward.

- A renegade iron worker at either Lion's Watch or Vol'mar in Tanaan Jungle will offer the weekly legendary quest  [100] Work Work Stoppage if you are currently working on this quest. For 20000 [Apexis Crystals], he will give you 75 [Elemental Runes].
