Objectives

Using the Heartswood Core, summon and subdue a succubus, then return the Heartswood Core to Gakin the Darkbinder in the Slaughtered Lamb.

Description

Using the heartswood core, you will be able to cast a spell at the summoning circle in the crypt below to open a portal for the succubus to pass through. Be careful, <name>, succubi have overrun even the strongest of minds. Once you have bested and returned it to the void, return to me and I will show you how to call and control it.

Progress

Sometimes I wonder if Surena was not a succubus in disguise, sent to warp and twist my mind... Ha! I give her too much credit, I think.

As a bit of questionable Blizzard humour, the quest will reward you with "69" silver pieces.

The Burning Crusade player enters the spider-webbed cellar of the Slaughtered Lamb.

Though an open crypt, the cellar is free of mobs.

The demonic summoning circle awaits at the bottom of the cellar.

Another Acolyte waits for you, to observer your performance.

The summoning begins.

The Succubus would make you pay for summoning her...with your life!

Without a Voidwalker to tank for her, the player here is at a major disadvantage...

...but nevertheless, she prevails.

When you return to Gakin, he will reminisce about the woman he sent you to assassinate to obtain your Voidwalker.

The player learns how to make use of her Succubus-in-bondage.

Let's try summoning our newly-bound Succubus!

Voila! The bound Succubus appears...

...and immediately begins examining her fingernails!
