Quest Text

A fragment of the shattered medallion is all that I can offer.

You must find another of dragon blood willing to assist you in forging a new key. Once you secure this key, you must travel to the Wyrmbog in Dustwallow Marsh. It is there that you will find her lair, <name>.

Where to find other flights willing to help? Sadly, I do not know... They are said to exist. Some may even work and live among us, disguised as one of the humanoid races. I wish you luck.

Details

• Got to the cave found in central Winterspring near the central bulge of the mountains south of Lake Kel'Theril. The cave is infested with various blue dragonkin, so you might want to bring a group. Travel deep in the cave to the symbol made of blue runes by Scryer. You you will be teleported to Haleh (coords: 55,51) and speak to her to complete the quest. She will then fling you to the Western Plaguelands.
• The Dragon's Eye is pretty much a superfluous quest. Druids and Rogues usually stealth into the cave, jump on the blue runes by Scryer on the floor and get teleported up to the mountainside to talk to Haleh and finish. All non-stealthy types can either spend hours hacking away or surrender their dignity, get naked, for a refreshing corpse walk into the cave (about 5-6 deaths to the runes on the floor) to teleport to the mountainside. Why get naked? To save on repair costs! Once you're there get the fragment, suit up and hearth stone home.
• Besides the standard ways of getting to Haleh by stepping on the blue runes by Scryer deep in the cave beneath her, there is also a way to get to her in the mountains by carefully jumping from a particular spot (usually on a mount). This allows you to get to her without help, taking a lot of damage, or dying a lot.

  • Note, unless you are very practiced, the first attempts can be time consuming (10-20 min), since the spot you need to jump to is not large.
