The Scarlet Crusade is the single biggest threat to the Forsaken. Even though the Forsaken is free of the Lich King's control and fights against the Scourge (the enemy of the Scarlet Crusade as well), the Scarlet Crusade has sworn to eliminate all undead from Azeroth. This quest is the first that pits you against Scarlet Crusade forces.

Objectives[]

Bring Executor Arren 12 Scarlet Armbands from Scarlet Converts and Scarlet Initiates.

Description[]

You'll be happy to know we appear to be making progress in the mine, thanks in no small part to your efforts. We can now turn our eyes to other concerns.

My scouts have reported that a detachment of the Scarlet Crusade is setting up a camp southeast of here. The Scarlet Crusade is a despicable organization that hunts us, and they will not rest until every undead--Lich King's Scourge or no--is destroyed. We must strike first!

Be careful, their unholy zeal makes them dangerous adversaries.

Progress[]

Those fools... They happily send themselves to their own graves.

Completion[]

If only they listened to reason, eh, <name>? Perhaps we could sit them down for reasonable discourse... ha!

Light-blinded fools.

Rewards[]

You may choose one of the following:

You will also receive:  [Refreshing Spring Water] x5

Details[]

Scarlet Converts and Scarlet Initiates can be found in the Scarlet Crusade camp, located south and east of Deathknell at (37,67).

If you don't have coordinates, look at the map of Tirisfal Glades. Locate the two house icons on either side of the road in Deathknell. Go south and east of those buildings and you'll see the camp.

The woods between Deathknell and the Scarlet Crusade camp are filled with Scavengers and Duskbats.

Patch changes[]

  • Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Inlinegfx/img_link_data.json' not found. Patch 1.7.0 (13-Sep-2005): The level 5 quests had the ranged weapon removed from their reward options. This was done to make sure hunters upgrade their melee damage in the levels before obtaining a pet.
