Quilen (sometimes called "Quilin")[1] are lion-like stone creatures with somewhat squashed faces, created by the Mogu. They are popular forms for guardian statues.[2]

- Quilen are exotic beasts and can only be tamed by beast mastery hunters with the [Exotic Beasts] ability.
Though hunters can respec their pet quilen into Cunning or Tenacity, they are inherently Ferocity. In addition to the abilities that come standard with all pets ([Growl] and [Avoidance]) and those given to their natural or retrained specialization, all quilen are given the following:

- Based on the shape, the Quilen is probably misnamed as it looks very little like a Qilin and more like a Shishi (or Japanese Komainu). Some users have noted the [Swift Windsteed] looks more like a Qilin.
