
Refuge Pointe
Refuge Pointe is all that remains of the once great kingdom of Stromgarde. With their Keep in ruins, most of the populace fled south, while the proud remnants of Stromgarde's elite army stayed behind, determined to fight on to reclaim their land. It is from Refuge Pointe that the Alliance's military operations in the area are conducted, most of which is concerned with aiding the Stromgarde army retake their former capital.
The leftover army separated from their kingdom decided to build their camp in a large bowl-like shape just to the northeast of their overthrown kingdom of Stromgarde. The location of the base has since been a successful tactic, protecting the small town from wind and other dangers.
It is more of an outpost than a full town since it has only tents and no mailbox, though one of the tents does now function as an inn. Refuge Pointe serves as the only alliance flight path in the Arathi Highlands.
