Two of the fel orc Blademaster units appearing in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne were named Rend and Maim. While they may have been intended to represent Rend and Maim Blackhand, the sons of Blackhand the Destroyer at the time that game was created, those characters have subsequently been given a different storyline in World of Warcraft.
