Rexxar appears in Warlords of Draenor as part of a short quest chain in Gorgrond. However the Rexxar from the original timeline does not appear in the expansion. While the Iron Horde were in Sulfur Basin, Rexxar shows up to fight against the enemy alongside Nisha. After splitting up, his pet was suddenly captured by the Iron Horde. After an adventurer from the original timeline tried to release Nisha captivity, but was caught by a gronn, Rexxar appeared and killed the gronn, and tended to Nisha's wounds.

He later returned with his pet to his camp and caught a Laughing Skull orc called Bony Xuk or a draenei called Rangari Erdanii. After the adventurer vouched for the orc or draenei, Rexxar swore that he would eliminate the Iron Horde once Nisha was healed. After his pet was fully healed, Rexxar then assists the adventurers in discovering the Iron Horde and goren's true cause of attacks - finding artifacts that can subjugate magnaron. Eventually, he and his companion managed to stop the Iron Horde by killing Commander Brak and taking Heart of the Magnaron. Rexxar and Nisha later assist Draka or Yrel in fighting Goc and Commander Gar in the Iron Approach. Rexxar is seen in Highpass / Beastwatch admiring the commander's combat and calls him a friend.

Notes and trivia[]
