Savory Deviate Delight
Source
An item creatable by those with the cooking profession using Deviate Fish, which can be fished from the pond outside Wailing Caverns.
The components are:
Recipe: Savory Deviate Delight drops from the various mobs in The Barrens.
Notes
Eating a Savory Deviate Delight will also have a random effect on your character, but the effects are different from those caused by the raw fish. Possible effects include:
- Flip Out - a buff that turns your character into a ninja for 60 minutes. A ninja in this case is a human dressed entirely in black with a black bandana across its face.
- Yaaarrrr - a buff that turns your character into a pirate for 60 minutes. A pirate in this case is a human dressed in pirate's clothing.
- Apparently, it was also posible to become a coward, but was removed in a patch.
If you are a Druid or Shaman, you will lose these effects when you change forms. Priests also lose the effect when using Shadowform.
Note that certain emotes change when you are under Flip Out or Yaaarrrr. For example, /cry, /laugh, /cheer, /chicken, /yawn, /train, /silly and /sigh all sound like the human versions... unless you are already playing as a human of course.
