These are no longer useful, as of patch 4.0.3. A Scourgestone is an item given to all Scourge upon birth or creation. It provides certain benefits to the holder, but more importantly it allows Scourge leaders visibility into the location and movement of all of their units.[1] The Argent Dawn needs them so that paladins can turn the scourgestones into "mightstones".[2] (APG #?) Young members collect "scourgestones" to show their mettle.[3] (DF 126)

Previously, Scourgestones could be turned in to Nicholas Zverenhoff at Light's Hope Chapel, Argent Officer Garush at The Bulwark, or Argent Officer Pureheart at Chillwind Camp. However, they can no longer be collected or turned in.

Plaguelands[]

Undead creatures sent out by the Lich King and his forces will have a chance to carry upon them three different levels of Scourgestones. One may obtain these stones by equipping one of the following trinkets:

Undead mobs, along with their living compatriots of the Cult of the Damned in Western Plaguelands, Eastern Plaguelands, Scholomance and Stratholme have the chance to carry one of these stones.

Boss type mobs such as Ras Frostwhisper, Darkmaster Gandling and Baron Rivendare will always carry a Corruptor's Scourgestone.
