The Searing Blade is an organization that formed shortly after the founding of Durotar.[citation needed] The cult is merely another branch of the Shadow Council, along with its sister group the Burning Blade clan, and are attempting to usurp Thrall's new Horde. The group has taken up residence in Ragefire Chasm, a network of caverns beneath Orgrimmar, secretly attempting to subvert innocent members of the Horde.
