Community Information[]

Anachronos is a European English speaking PvE server that opened 2 weeks before the launch of The Burning Crusade (13/01/07). The server time is CET/UTC+1 and is hosted on Server 3, Paris, France. The IP address is 80.239.185.127.

Although Anachronos is an English speaking Realm, in addition to players from the British Isles, it has a large Nordic and Dutch player base.

On 1st October 2014 Anachronos was connected with Kul Tiras and Alonsus. The realm is named after Anachronos the Ancient, of the Bronze Dragonflight.

The below statistics were correct as of July 2014. Due to the Server merge on 1st October 2014 this data should be used as reference only.

Warcraftrealms data stood at 96% Alliance, 4% Horde with an active population of 2,266 and an Alliance to Horde activity ratio of 2.4 to 1. Wowprogress ranked Anachronos at number 177 in Europe out of 266 servers.

Realmpop listed the player base as 64.6% Alliance (27,589) and 35.1% Horde (15,004) with a total player base of 42,689 characters and 1,929 registered Guilds.

WoWuction ranked the economy at 397(A) and 503(H) out of 574 auction houses in the region based on market volume. The Alliance and Horde Auction Houses were indexed at 0.98 and 1.77 respectively. The higher the Index the more expensive Auctions are likely to be.

Since the opening of the realm, several waves of free character migration into Anachronos were made. The player base of Anachronos consists of players who started their characters here as well as players originally from the following servers (list might be incomplete):

Blizzard lists Anachronos as a low population server. Realm activity had steadily declined in recent years which had been majorly noticeable since post-WotLK however activity has substantially increased since the Server merge.
