Colere was originally slain in the breaking of the sunwell. His spirit entered a nearby tree where he rested to gather his strength. A troubled youth used that same tree to hang himself and rather than let the child die, Colere forced his will into the child taking control of it. After freeing himself he reported to darnassus and took on the job of forward scout. He has assisted the alliance in destroying many of the dark influences including Ragnaros and Hakkar. His most recent exploits have taken him into outland to make new allies on behalf of Darnassus.
