General[]
Thunderlord is a PvP realm that was created upon World of Warcraft's inception; November 23, 2004. Like most realms that were available upon release, it has a rich history with an equally rich community, spanning throughout the release of Wrath of the Lich King. However, it has also suffered a great deal of attrition since that time. Nevertheless, a small core of the community and many newcomers have kept this server afloat, as it has never qualified for a realm transfer. It is hoped that it may last many more years to come.
PvE Progression[]
Thunderlord has consistently ranked between the top 100 and 175 realms. While never re-achieving release and TBC status, its population and progression has been consistent since. Up-to-date PvE progression can be tracked through external sites such as:

Media Coverage[]
Between Chetvichoi's Barrens Cyber and the battle cry of "ISOLLATOR!!!", Thunderlord has had several noteworthy moments in WoW history. One of the largest and most prolific guilds to have ever graced Thunderlord, Inquisition, pulled one public stunt that caught the eye of many: they faked the opening of the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj, stirring up both resentment and admiration. While the original article is no longer in existence, an abridged version is below. Additionally, following the fall of Vae Victus (H), Guild Master Zavin made a short reappearance, writing this nostalgic article about the "good ol' days" of griefing. In particular, Boat Wars!

Guild History[]
Most of the guilds that helped start this realm are no longer with us. As Azeroth increasingly turned into one, big instance, guilds were forced to solidify or be lost in the dust. Back then, top-end guilds disbanding was big news. However, with the release of TBC, Thunderlord saw its first big turnover; a trend that would repeat itself in many iterations. Nevertheless, some of the long-standing names will live on here as remembrance to the "founding fathers" and many contributors to Thunderlord's history.
