Spear Hand Strike is a core monk ability learned at level 32. It interrupts spellcasting and prevents spells from the interrupted school from being cast.

Patch changes

• Patch 5.3.0 (21-May-2013): Spear Hand Strike now locks a spell school out for 4 seconds, down from 5 seconds.
