I've heard that the name of their capital is Amun Vale, can anyone confirm that? Shandris 03:17, 11 May 2006 (EDT)

This video interview suggests it's the starting zone. --Mynamewasgone 08:54, 11 May 2006 (EDT)

Take a look at the map I posted. It's probably the middle town before you reach the captial, or at least a subzone of Azuremyst Isles. --Xmuskrat 12:34, 11 May 2006 (EDT)
Ammen Vale is the starting area. The middle town is Azure Watch. The capital is The Exodar. -Hammerdin

Name[]

it's actually called Azuremyst Isle (singular), see this stunning shot: -- Shandris 04:01, 11 May 2006 (EDT)

Actually it is still a grouping of islands, as per the lore on the official draenei webpage. You just start on one of the isles in particular.Baggins 09:18, 11 May 2006 (EDT)

Travel from the Isles[]

What do people think is the probability of a boat linking Azuremyst with Darkshore via the West dock at Auberdine? Maybe like the link to Teldrassil that you have to take the boat across to get the flight route, then can fly from then on? --Dga 16:53, 16 August 2006 (EDT)

You don't need to take the boat to fly from Teldrassil to Auberdine for the first time. The flight always exists and is free. --Shandris 20:34, 16 August 2006 (EDT)
Make sure to sign you posts for one. Also, it's possible that the west dock at Auberdine leads to The Exodar/Azuremyst Isle, Blizz probably put it there for future use. Hammerdin
Yes indeed, and here's proof brought to you:

Shandris, the information was enough without the picture you know you're not supposed to post here :) -- Kirkburn (talk) 15:34, 7 September 2006 (EDT)
I think that picture sums it up. Also it confirms my theory that our "draenei infront of exodar" pic is wrong and the exodar is to the west. I wonder why we don't have any in-game pics from E3 of the rest of the isles and not just Ammen Vale. --Hammerdin 18:39,7 September 2006 (EDT)
Cause Bloodmyst Isle didn't exist at the time, mister. --Shandris 04:02, 8 September 2006 (EDT)
NP, Kirk, but I really wonder...why have you taken up the administrator role here on wowwiki, it's not so that the letter was targeted against you...
--Shandris 14:41, 8 September 2006 (EDT)
It might be because I'm an administrator on here, silly :) Rustak doesn't want to have to deal with DMCAs, and we have no plans to cause Blizzard trouble. -- Kirkburn (talk) 14:53, 8 September 2006 (EDT)
Just don't post alpha images period.-Hammerdin (Talk)

Beta player here. There is a flight patch from Exodar to Blood Watch, but you CAN NOT fly off the islands because it's technically instanced. The only ways to get on/off the draenei islands are using the Night Elf ferry (Exodar-Auberdine) or mage portals. The Night Elf ferry goes from a berth adjacent to Exodar to the far far west dock in Auberdine (formerly unused). ~~Silvermist

Quests[]

I have begun adding links to the quests in this zone... they are not yet complete... I also plan to create the Quest pages themselves, it just may take me a little while. I had some trouble checking to see when quests are chains, and there seems to be two different versions of the quest A [1] Replenishing the Healing Crystals - one for draenei characters, and one for non-draenei (or so it seems)... I am not sure how to indicate this... I will continue adding to this list as I get a chance. --  SeiferTim  ( talk · contribs ) 14:45, 25 January 2007 (EST)

I have finished adding all the Ammen Vale quests. If someone would be able to look over them and make sure I did not miss anything and then remove the Stubs, it would be appreciated. I will begin adding the rest of the quests shortly. --   SeiferTim  ( talk · contribs ) 11:17, 2 February 2007 (EST)

Clean Up[]

This page looks a little messy and incomplete to me. I am going to try to clean it up a bit, and remove some of the stuff that was added prior to BC release which isn't really needed now. If anyone has any objections, feel free to add things back in and/or talk about it here. --Jiyambi t || c 23:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

I personally don't think we need that map of what Azuremyst Isle looked like during the BC development, or if we do maybe it should go somewhere other than the main zone page. But that seemed like a kinda big thing to delete so I am waiting to see if anyone else has thoughts on the matter. --Jiyambi t || c 23:49, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
I've done more tidying to the tables (basically removing all extraneous code) ... across the wiki, they need to be updated to a consistent design. This look good? Kirkburn talk contr 00:01, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Not 100% sure what you are asking, but if it is whether I like the table style for the Azuremyst page, the answer is yes :P --Jiyambi t || c 04:14, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Shattrath Adjacent?[]

Should Shattrath really be listed as adjacent? First of all, since Exodar is technically its own zone (as are all capital cities), shouldn't this be mentioned in the Exodar section? And secondly, since it's one way only, does it really count as an "Adjacent" zone? Since it is in another world entirely it isn't exactly "adjacent", travel through a magic portal doesn't seem to make it adjacent to me. But it's also not that big a deal, just bringing up some points. --Jiyambi t || c 18:09, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Agreed, and removing. Kirkburn talk contr 19:34, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
