Blood elves aren't the only ones whose racial mounts look like they were inspired by a Final Fantasy game. (And I've heard the same thing from others...so it's not just my opinion.)

- Kinda late, I know, but I don't see any similarity whatsoever, except for the obvious elephantine traits. The elekk more resembles a mûmakil than anything else, except for the elephant, of course. Seriously, do YOU see any semi-insectoid curled-up trunk on the elekk?

Argussian Animals[]
Are there any proof that the Elekks have always been native to Draenor, or can they possibly be animals from Argus brought to Draenor by the Draenei? - Jalokin95 00:34, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

- But it is kinda weird that they only live in Nagrand, where Oshu'Gun landed with the Draenei for the first time and near Draenei organizations. And the Azuremyst Isles are proof that the Naaru Dimenssional ships actually can carry the Elekks with them. Could this be added to the page as a Speculation? - Jalokin95 08:00, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

- No, Draenor was just not a single tiny continent on an ocean world. The only possible source might be Quest:Alien Predators, where it states they had Outland species on board, which might include the Elekk, but again... doesn't specify. User:Coobra/Sig4 17:33, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
