Yes, but for Alexstrasza is only a title and it is like when mother give her daughter same name as her.
Speculation : Eonar = Earthmother =... Elune?[]
About speculation, it says that Eonar could be Earthmother... Could it be Elune at same time? Myths are used by those who don't know writing (does Taurens and Night Elves known to write before the Third War?) to "tell" History, and by the years it changes and becomes more "legendary". And for Elune, Nights-Elves may have seen their god as being similar to them. For Taurens they may have simply seen her as Earthmother by the time.

- It's not a matter of perception; Blizzard has been very clear on this point. Elune is a deity, and the titans are not deities. Eonar and Elune are separate individuals.
