Reputation[]
Does this mean you can no longer gain reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu, the Zandalar Tribe, or the Violet Eye? Xavius, the Satyr Lord (talk) 13:33, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- No. Feats of strength don't have to be impossible. Just highly unlikely come Wrath time. Several (first to 80, Scarab Lord, etc...) will be impossible, though. That's why they're all worth 0 points. --k_d3 17:13, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- A few of the Feats of Strength now have 10 points assigned to them as of the August 1, 2008 patch release - so the point values are not set in stone yet - and other achievements have changed as well - I just have not gotten to those changes yet. ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 08:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
Every patch brings about a few changes to the Achievements ( additions / removals / renamings / or change in point values ) -- As a result of the continual changes I for now will not be wikifying the pages or listing the list of items/goals that need to be accomplished to get the achievement - I will just be listing the Achievement name and the main discription text of the goal with no sub-listings until the changes slow down a little bit. ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 08:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- I have updated most all the other achievement pages up to (Beta patch 8905) so now I will start on these - but I just read somewhere that they are going to be removing the "Titles" for the Realm 1sts to level 80 - 450 profesion skill level in the next patch (or have already done so now) - so I will not be including the Titles for now - ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 15:48, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Page update[]
August 27, 2008 - This page is as complete and as wikified as I can get them for now (beta patch 8820) until the next patch comes out that makes changes to them - ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 01:32, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- September 11, 2008 - This page is as complete and as wikified as I can get them for now (beta patch 8926) until the next patch comes out that makes changes to them - ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 20:06, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Bloodsails note[]
What is the purpose of the 'fresh air' comment for the Bloodsail Admiral acheivement? Is it meant to imply the long, long, INCREDIBLY LONG rep grind? KnnOs (talk) 13:42, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- I was wondering the same thing myself - so that could be it - ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 16:01, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Feat of Strength Titles[]
Note that the titles that were associated with level 80 have been removed, but the feats still exist. -Howbizr (talk) 12:17, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Realm First boss kill achievements will still grant a title.
First to level 80[]
I also wanted to post that a French man has already reached level 80. He's been planning it since beta. -Howbizr (talk) 12:17, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Split into sub-articles[]
See the new treatment of Dungeons & Raids achievements and discussion at Talk:Dungeons & Raids achievements. This page could really do with being split, but it's not quite so easy, as Blizz have not given us convenient sub-categories. One sub-category that seems fairly obvious to me is "Realm Firsts". Anyone got any suggestions for others? --Murph (talk • contr) 17:38, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see it needed at all. User:Gourra/Sig2 17:49, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
- I definitely (NOW) think this page needs to be split for several reason:
- The page is getting super long
- The Page is starting to lag when Editing it (Because it is super long)
- It is hard to find some of the achievements in the LONG page - can't tell if we missed one or not - and it is too hard to add it back in, into it's proper spot without doing major time and effort in renumbering it, unless you add it to the end of the document.
- I think some of the Sub categories should be as Murph suggested Realm First!, Items, etc - then we can keep them in Alpha order in the sub pages easier and can keep the page short (using Ajax) you show the pages you want to see as you want to - not 1 HUGE page displaying at a time.
- I definitely (NOW) think this page needs to be split for several reason:

Formatting maintenance[]
The maintenance of these types of page is stupid. You have to spend 15 minutes formatting if you add anything low in the alphabet. I went ahead and did the class="alt"
, but no way I'm renumbering 80 entries by hand. The numbers have no benefit. And we should seriously consider implementing Pcj's automated zebra striping, even if it's kind of buggy. -Howbizr (talk) 18:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- Also, what is the point of numbering them? I know at least one is missing, Brutal Nether Drake Feats of Strength achievement. I don't want to add it because of the stupid numbering. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 7:10 PM PST 11 Mar 2009
- Because of the Mass amount of entries and / or changes in other achievements that get removed and moved over to the feats of strength section - I do not renumber the current Feats - I just add them to the end - The numbering is just to help with finding them when editing - it is easier to look for ! 23 than to just look thru the mess and try to find the exact wording to make changes to the Feats -- the class="darktable zebra" setting does not work on pages that have breaks in them to make the line ( ie Using ! 23 then on next line put | txt -- the line had to be | 23 || txt for zebra to work ) -- (M o r p h | C | T ) 01:32, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
Here are a the examples I mentioned:

I would like to announce that as of this posting all achievement pages from General achievements thru Feats of Strength achievements#other have now been converted over to the |-class="darktable sortable zebra plainlinks" align=center
and all Numbering has been removed. From now on if you need to add a new achievement to the pages add them to the end of the listing (some have been broken into groups that can bee seen when edited) or into their groups (you can see the groups when table is edited you will see <!-- Group Name -->
before each group.). The tables are now sortable and will auto zebra stripe so there is no need for the |-class="alt"
tag either (unless you do not have java / java-scripts turned on). This should make maintaining the pages a whole lot easier from hence forth. -- (M o r p h | C | T ) 21:22, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
New Achievements added[]
I noticed that the Dreadsteed achievement was added for feats of strength. The description is "Completed the Dreadsteed of Xoroth quest." I'm not sure what other classes also get new achievements, possibly Paladins for their mount quest. I didn't make the changes to the page yet. Just wanna get the ok to do so. user:Extremedeath
- Achievements #117 thru #125 are the NEW achievements added at the end (the bottom) of the list:
- Paladins got #118 Dreadsteed of Xoroth and #119 Charger achievements.
- Druitds got #120 Swift Flight Form achievement.
- There are no others at the moment that we know of -- (<span="help title=Morph>M o r p h | <span="help title=Morph_Contribution(s)_to_this_Wiki>C | <span="help title=Morph_Discussion_Page>T) 17:32, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
class="darktable zebra" does not work thru ajax[]
I broke the page down into smaller (more manageable sections) and on the individual pages used the class="darktable zebra" setting and all was great until I went to the main page and clicked on the ajax link to see the pages ( no alternating light / dark rows ) so I will go to each page and make them like the other achievement pages - so they show correctly on thru ajax ( tomorrow ) I am going to bed for the night -- (M o r p h | C | T ) 05:04, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- Pages are now fixed to work with {{Ajaxsub}} again -- (M o r p h | C | T ) 19:34, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
Venomhide Ravasaur needs work[]
I was able to fix the purple mount link to the item box on the Whistle of the Venomhide Ravasaur page, however I am unable to figure out how to fix the link from mousing over the achievement for that and also the Frostsaber achievement below that. As it is now, when mousing over the link, it brings up the entire page. Can someone else here figure out what's wrong with the link? I'm not a wiki expert yet and I'm out of ideas. Dregtal (talk)
- A few solutions are these:
- Achievement pages have to be on seperate pages from pages that have Items on them because the Item box will interfere with the achievement box.
- When achievement pages show the Whole page and not just the achievement information, most likely you need to add <onlyinclude> to the beginning of the {{Achievementbox}} and </onlyinclude> to the end - the tags tell the link to only only include the information that is inbetween the tags and no other info.
