Relevant to getting started?[]

Are the slash commands, saved variables, and localization sections really appropriate to a getting started section? They seem a little out of scope with rest of the article.

Mention that TOC stands for Table of Contents somewhere?[]

Talking about 'TOC files' without explaining what they stand for (especially considering that they're so descriptively named!) is kind of unhelpful and makes it harder for the reader to remember what they're called and what they do. I had to go through kind of a rabbit trail just to find out for myself, when the information should've been right in front of me to begin with. I mean, imagine you were reading a college textbook and they suddenly start talking about 'GML' and explaining what it does without bothering to tell you what the acronym means. Are you just expected to memorize three seemingly arbitrary letters? I tried to edit this page to add this, which I look at as basic and necessary information. But my edit was reverted. What gives? 70.119.70.114 20:04, April 19, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for your help in making these pages better. If you could add that explanation to the TOC file page, which I've linked on this Getting started page in the same place you are talking about. If I had to guess why Fandyllic may have reverted, may be because we try to keep certain types explanations on their own pages, rather than trying to manage the same explanation many places every time a term is linked. We even have special templates and conventions to explain or direct people to the topical page go for more information. Regardless, do I appreciate your efforts and help as it is definitely needed.
