- Both break on any sort of damage. Mostly they differ in what causes them and who is immune to them. Functionally they are mostly identical, I believe. --Mikaka 08:01, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Sap has been changed in patch 2.4; it is no longer considered an Incapacitate effect, rather it is now its own effect. This was changed in order to provide decreased immunities in dungeons, etc.
