What happened to him?[]
With the new development in WotLK what happened to Faranell? --N'Nanz (talk) 18:46, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- Putress took over as apparently he was the one to find the key way to making the plauge, but after his coup Faranell probably regained control.-- {T •C ) 04:58, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- I found this about the Forsaken in Ambassador Galavosh page: "...There’s an organization here (the undercity) — the Royal Apothecary Society. They mess around with potions, venoms, diseases and other alchemy. Their leader, Master Apothecary Faranell, sends many Forsaken out on missions to gather strange objects that must be ingredients for something..." --N'Nanz (talk) 10:55, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Expert[]
It seems to me that he would be of much higher skill level, at the very least Illustrious, although it would seem he would have a rank of his own. Does it say in RPG that he's expert and that's why we keep it, that it doesn't really matter, or for some other reason? jclipps (talk) 01:58, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
- It's an NPC class from 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons. As far as (D&D) game mechanics go, the Expert class just gave him more ranks in alchemical skills like craft, to (gameplay-wise) reflect his "actual", lore-based skill at making tasty brews and mixing chemicals. Like you said, his skill's probably waaay beyond that of us player characters. Expert is in Faranell's list because we like to list classes from every source, for everybody. I remember I got into a pretty funny argument with Baggins over that a while ago. --Super Bhaal (talk) 10:38, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
