Seal of Corruption bug

FYI, don't add this as an undocumented change because it's just a tooltip bug. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 3:33 PM, 8 Oct 2009 (EDT)

Re: Seal of Corruption nerfs? | 2009-10-02 15:14 | Ghostcrawler
[Seal of Corruption's] tooltip incorrectly stated that it did higher damage than it actually did. It actually did (and still does) the same damage as [Seal of Vengeance]. Vengeance's tooltip did not have the error. We changed Corruption's tooltip to be correct.

Curse of Elements was not changed

Also, don't post this as an undoc either. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 3:33 PM, 8 Oct 2009 (EDT)

Curse of the Elements rank 5 is still 13%... [Curse of Elements] rank 5 has not changed between 3.2.2 and 3.3.

The PTR section

Shouldn't everything be in this section until the patch goes live? -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 03:18, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

No. I was thinking of this section, because they are things that are specifically for PTRs, not for live. Hans Kamp (talk) 04:15, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
Another option would be moving everything into an unconfirmed section once the patch goes live. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 07:47, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
The stuff in Patch 3.3.0 is what Blizzard has published on their website, and should be a direct copy, with the addition of wikilinks and other navigational stuffs. What's on Patch 3.3.0 (undocumented changes) are changes found and confirmed by players. Speculation can go on the talk pages. Ideally, the undoc page should have a lot of a references, since most of these things were confirmed by a blogger or fansite somewhere down the line. But if you do your own research, you're still welcome to post what you find without a reference.
On the flip side, nothing is ever moved to the official patch notes, because again, that's just whatever Blizz officially announced. We do however purge anything from the undoc page if it becomes duplicated on the official patch notes. Hope that helps clarify a bit. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 1:47 PM, 6 Oct 2009 (EDT)
I agree with the change that you just made. The changes that I noticed can be easily checked, especially with a level 80 character. I also would suggest to remove parts of the undoc page if it is removed after the end of the PTR phase, but before going live. Hans Kamp (talk) 14:04, October 6, 2009 (UTC)
One additional clarification, this page is just for changes to the game, not a description of the current PTR. For example, if Blizzard disables a dungeon on the PTR, that doesn't need to be added here. Similarly, obvious PTR bugs shouldn't be noted here (like the LFG system always being on). If you're unsure if something is a bug or not, I'd phrase it like this "LFG is now always enabled, possibly a bug." /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 2:07 PM, 6 Oct 2009 (EDT)
And yes, everyone in the spirit of the wiki should be bold this page is dynamic and should be purged or corrected during and after the PTR cycle. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 2:07 PM, 6 Oct 2009 (EDT)

More non-changes

Here are some other false positives, so they should not be added to the undoc:

Re: Chains of Ice = Diminishing Returns on PTR | 2009-10-05 15:48 | Ghostcrawler
Stop your mass rerolling there DKs; this is a bug. :)

[Chains of Ice] should not have DR on its snare.

The bug was likely introduced because we were trying to prevent the huge visual from displaying on creatures that were immune to the snare. The functionality of Chains of Ice has not changed for 3.3 (at least as of this posting.)

Re: Reconsider The Improved Barkskin Change | 2009-10-05 21:51 | Ghostcrawler
[Improved Barkskin] has not changed for 3.3 (at least as of this posting). The tooltip was clarified to specify that only leather and cloth armor contribute, which was always the case.

List of undoc changes. I'll just keep expanding this list as I find more articles. Use {{strike}} when they've been integrated. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 3:34 PM, 8 Oct 2009 (EDT)
