Typeless Creep?

From the article:

This spell works on target types given above, and does NOT work on elementals, demons, undead, or typeless creeps. It works just fine against Forsaken players, as the game considers them humanoid.

What is a typeless creep? Can someone give an example? I don't think I've ever run across a creep in the game that didn't have a classification.

WoWWiki calls them uncategorized creatures. Silithids are probably the best known example. I clarified the text and added that link to the article. --Piu ^(?!) 16:27, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Multiple castings

From WoW.com -> Info -> Classes -> Mage:

"There is also an increased chance of the spell breaking early especially if cast on players. Players targets get decreased duration of the effect and a better chance to break free, such that it is unlikely the effect will last more than 15 seconds. Multiple castings on a single target are subject to diminishing returns for the spells' durations."

The bit in bold does not seem to be mentioned in the article. I'm not sure whether it applies to all targets or just players. --Zootsko 21:53, 10 April 2006 (EDT)

"It works just fine against Undead players, though their racial ability counters and prevents the effect." This quote does not look correct to me, as Will of the Forsaken only prevents (or dispels) Charm, Fear, and Sleep. It does NOT dispel Polymorph. Polymorph is subject to diminishing returns, but I have yet to find a calculation for how to determine just how diminished the cast becomes. Also, has anyone found anything about what kind of mob attributes cause Polymorph to break more often? For instance, in ZG, priests do not seem to break quite as often as, say, blood drinkers do. -Anei

Polymorph CAN be resisted (unpleasnt personal experience!) but this isnt too much of a problem; just cast it again. The spell is arcane so presumably arcane resistance helps? Damoloces

arcane resist does help, i've watch mages try to poly my pet that's got close to 200 reist over and over and over.... Reskar 16:00, 10 April 2007 (EDT)

This article doesn't mention that while a druid is in another form (Shapeshifting) he is immune to those effects.

Creatures

According to  Patch 2.4.2 (2008-05-13): Creature versions of the Polymorph spell no longer heal the affected target.

I assume "Creature versions of the Polymorph spell" is meant to be interpreted as "Polymorph spells cast by creatures", and as such do not affect this article. Could someone confirm this in-game?

Is there a place to comment on the "Creature version" of spells? This article doesn't seem to take that into account.
