Unstacking the tables[]
Responding to the "Cleanup" tag for the "Potions by type" section of this article, I spent about two hours carefully reformatting the three big tables in that section.
- First and formost: every item now has its own line in the table, rather than having lots of items stacked together using <br> tokens. This change should make editing the tables a lot easier.
- Most artificial colouring and formatting was removed, and the tag 'class="darktable"' added. This will make the tables look a lot better in various different skins.
- The tag 'class="alt"' is now used to show the original grouping.
- In the source, the grouping is shown by blank lines between the groups.
- To make the three tables look the same on the page, the artificial width settings were retained.
- I'm not sure about the cellspacing and cellpadding settings. Maybe they can be removed
- valign was retained, because some entries still use linebreaks, and benefit from vertical alignment to the top.
- All columns have the default (left) alignment, except for the 'level' column, which is centered everywhere.
Although the greatest care was taken not to damage the content of the tables, this re-hash may have introduced some errors. In particular, entries for a particular item might have wound up on different lines. Please correct any factual errors you find.
This job was arduous, tortuous and tedious in the extreme. I hope it was worth it.
