There is no evedence for or against them being the same guy.--User:Sandwichman2448/Sig 22:21, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

From the two pictures, it would appear that Samuro from WC3 is older than the WoW version, seeming to imply that they are not the same.

Sign your edits. Samuro from WC3 used a generic blademaster model(there were two, one for grom and one for every other blademaster, and they both had two skins, a regular and a felorc skin). Several characters that carried over from wow used the standard model for their unit in WC3, but look completely different in wow, so that isn't evidence. Is it the same guy? Who could say. But at any rate, I'd wager samwise took the name from the wc3 character.Tweak the Whacked (talk) 07:37, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Very good point, I my only experience with WC3 is the demo :P (Though I did play all the way through WC2 before WC3 was created) Edit: That was me up there too, the one that forgot to sign... :PSkreeran (talk) 08:43, 4 June 2008 (UTC)Skreeran

Split[]

This article should be split don't? I don´t have knowledge to do it, so, anyone can do? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pudim17 (talkcontr).

I agree, it should be split. Anyone feel differently? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:51, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
I think it shouldn't, I mean it's obvious they are the same: they are both orcs, the one from WC3 used the model of a blademaster because, if you notice, in the Bonus Campaign you have the chance to use every one of the four Horde heros and it was the only model aviable for a baldemaster (they could have used the one of Grom but they didn't). Next he appeared in WoW and the one of WC3 never appeared again...sounds strange to me. Also like said the commentary of above it is very probable that Samwise took the name from the WC3 samuro, so I think they should be considered the same or at very least keep the article as it is. It doesn't matter they are the same, the The Ebon Watcher and Darion are the same, Krasus and Korialstrasz are the same, Kalec and Kalecgos, and many more. You can link both, but it should be 2 different articles. Pudim17 (talk - contr) 10:35, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes but that's because one is for their lore character and other for the NPC. Also Kalec was redirected to Kalecgos because they were two separate: Kalec was for the NPC and Kalecgos for the lore, but then they were merged when noticed that the NPC was named Kalecgos. Now Samuro has the same name in WC3 and in WoW so I don't see a reason to separate them. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 00:25, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
It goes agains't the wowwiki rules, they are different characters until someone prove they are the same. Pudim17 (talk - contr) 14:08, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Again, there are both orcs (their model is different but that was also seen in Gazlowe, Uther, Nazgrel because they used the standar model of the unit and in World of Warcraft they look very different.), both of them are named exactly the same. Also you are telling that Samuro (of WC3) magically disapeared and then another orc named exacly the same appears, that doesn't sound coherent. Finally can you link the rules where it says: they are different characters until someone prove they are the same? I don't remember seeing it anywere, besides there are some clues that they are the same guy. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 19:38, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
