Hey guys. I'm in Southshore at the moment, and at the graveyard, there's a tombstone that's clickable. It reads "In loving memory of Jesse Morales". Anyone know who Jesse Morales is? --Darkfox190 20:07, 24 May 2006 (EDT)
As far as I've been able to tell, Jesse Morales WAS one of the developers of WoW, who passed away. So, in memory, they put a tombstone in-game. DannyBoy2k 18:08, 8 January 2007 (EST)

Southshore Significance: I just got the Tides of Darkness novel which states that Lothar and the survivors of Stormwind arrived here when they fled the Horde. I figured that deserved mentioning in the article. If there are disagreements, please let me know. Omega2010 09:13, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Southshore taken by the Horde[]
Its not fair if the horde takes southshore then the alliance deserves to have hammerfall if the horde gets all of hillbred then the alliance deserves to have atleast all arathi.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Yg0r (talk • contr).
- While I am also saddened by the thought of the Hillsbrad area becoming entirely Horde-controlled, the point of doing this isn't necessarily "fairness." It has to do with showing the Forsaken expanding their territory. Just because the Horde gains some territory, it doesn't necessarily mean that the Alliance must also gain, or "deserves" an equal amount of territory--that's not really the point. The point of doing all these old-world zone changes (in addition to streamlining the leveling zone transitions, of course) is to advance the story; and part of the story may involve one side gaining more territory than the other. - I don't think that the Horde actually taking Southshore has been confirmed, has it? Even if it was lost to the Horde, the Alliance advances its territory in Cataclysm too.
