I'm not sure that the Interface Customization page is the right page for this text, but I couldn't think of a better place to put it in. It's a bit more general than UI Customization, since it talks about macros and and slash commands too. Where else could I put this page?

The complete list of all slash commands has expired; the link leads to an empty forum page. Is there any way to reproduce this source? --Kewangeder 17:23, 25 Oct 2005 (EDT)

Legal / TOS question[]

Is there anywhere that states what functionality is not allowed in an addon that uses the pure WoW api provided by blizzard? Basically what I'm asking is, if you write an addon with only the WoW api, is it possible to create an addon that violates the TOS? sorenth 13:13, 13 October 2006 (EDT)

If you can do it purely within the game it is legal. If they find that they do not care for whatever your result is, they will patch out that functionality. You will not be penalized. --Gryphon 13:18, 13 October 2006 (EDT)

Editing?[]

I think this:

Uninstalling: You can always uninstall any AddOn and reset the WoW UI to its clean default state by merely deleting or renaming the Interface, WTF, and WDB folders in your WoW folder, then rebooting.

With:

Uninstalling: You can always remove any AddOn by deleting, moving or renaming it's folder in the Interface folder, you can also remove the whole WoW UI by deleting the Interface folder (Blizzard default UI will be recreated when you launch WoW again).
Most AddOns save data into /WTF/(Account)/SavedVariables/ folder, deleting the data for deleted AddOns help in lowering the memory usage for WoW.

Might need some editing, or rewriting if needed.
