Please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this article the same as World of Warcraft (Wildstorm Comic)? Kimera757 04:06, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

No, no named characters[]

  • IconSmall Human MaleAssassin - An unnamed member of the Stormwind Assassins' Guild hired by the villain to assassinate Lo'Gosh. He is presumably killed in Dustwallow Marsh, when he is ambushed by a giant spider while doing battle with Valeera.
  • Villain - A mysterious yet-to-be-named villain who appears only in the shadows.
  • IconSmall Human MaleMasked Man - An unnamed member of the Defias Brotherhood who reports witnessing Lo'Gosh at Dire Maul to the villain, and is presumably killed by Gakca shortly thereafter.
  • IconSmall NightElf FemalePriestess - An unnamed Priestess of the Moon who resides in Ashenvale.

These should be merged into related synopses sections where they take place but should not have prominant articles themselves. Same as in the novels.Baggins (talk) 01:24, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Merging[]

I really suggest we merge all the 3 Volumes together. I mean they are one entire story and it isn't really necessary to repeat all the supporting characters and main characters all over again. We should just try to sort them chronologically according the sequence of event as stated in the book, so they connect with World of Warcraft together. I mean not everyone is an expert on WoW, no one can remember all the characters. --Ramu50 (talk) 23:45, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

As you say, no one can remeber all characters...that's the reason they are listed here... So that people who can't remember can just check out the article. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 00:02, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

My point is why split a story into three parts and then have nearly no extra information except for the technical information.

Wikia is an encyclopedia (strategy guides, culture...etc) are things that are develop from the encyclopedic information. So rather than just having the {{Books|<capitalistic franchise>}} that many people won't like because they are repetitive (meaning characters are always referring back to the WoW NPC. e.g. the cousin, friend, enemy of a NPC) which seems very boring, make the contents as relevant as possible e.g.

  • NPC role and background with the geography (short stories, local fable...etc)
  • layout of the species of animals.

So comic artists can create a more inspirational story and more cultures like Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain can be created.

In case you didn't know Warcraft instead is a new genre of books. Its just Wikipedia has a horrible navigation systems for minor book genre e.g. (Apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction, Mecha (anime genre fiction)...etc --Ramu50 (talk) 02:25, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Well the articles aren't merged because they are different products, we won't merge, for example, Rend Blackhand with Maim Blackhand just because they are brothers and most times they are together. If you want a general information of the comic go to World of Warcraft (Wildstorm comic) (which used to have the list of characters, covers, etc; but was moved to it's respective volume[1]). The three articles of the volumes aren't really different because no one has taken the time to expand them, if you want add a resume of the volume or something. And if you see closely you'll find that some characters from the first volume doesn't appear in the second one and viceversa, giving another reason to keep them separate.
If you don't like the wikis ok, but I think that it's really good to keep the role, background, etc in each NPC; it helps to fix out the retcons, mistakes and know to detail every character. I don't really understand what you wanted to tell with the comic artists and L80ETC. And about warcraft being a new gener of books, well, I don't see why a comic like this would be different from others just because it pertains to the Warcraft Universe. Pointless.
Each product deserves its own article, and they don't share all their characters.
Also, if you want everything merged, there's already an article for that: World of Warcraft: The Comic. It's just that's not edited yet.--Lon-ami (talk) 15:20, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
