Great work, thanks! -- Gringo 10:43, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Timestamps unrealistic?

I like the estimate of what the timer should be at as you progress through, but some boss kill times seem unrealistic. For example, Bear has 1.3 million hp, takes two tanks, my group has been using 3 healers, which leaves 5 dps... or 6 if you have a two healer group. 1,300,000 dmg over 180 seconds for 5 people is 1400+ dps, for 6 its 1200+ dps, either of which out of reach. Anyway, I somewhat digress, my real hope is that you can post or add a link to some group's successful 4 boss time trial with time stamps as they progressed through it. I actually grabbed that from a guy's post of his guild's run through ZA, from the forums. In other words, that's from an actual run, not an theory-crafted run. I'll find the link and add a reference if you wish, though I generally dislike linking against forums posts since they break a lot. -- Adonran 15:38, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Still looking for the original post, but I did find mention of this: "Our last run we had eagle dead with 24 minutes after addition. Bear dead with 30 minutes after addition. Dragonhawk with 19 or 18 and Lynx with just under 7." Here's another one: "We pull the eagle with ~17 mins remaining on the first timer. Kill him quickly and move to bear. The next timer I recall is ~26-28 mins left after killing the bear. ~22-23 mins on dragonhawk pull, ~18-19 mins after dragonhawk kill." Note that these are actually faster than the timeline listed on this page. -- Adonran 18:46, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Still looking for the original timeline... but I found even better, some WWS logs: log 1 and log 2. In the first log they did 7054 dps overall, and it took them 3 minutes and 4 sec by my calculation. -- Adonran 18:58, 18 December 2007 (UTC)`
It is important to note that the Timed Event is designed to present a challenge for better geared groups. In T4 equivalent gear you may find it challenging to achieve the first timed chest, and possibly make the second.
In T5 equivalent gear you should solidly make 2 timed chests, and with some extremely on par game-play make the third timed chest.
In T6 you should be able to make 3 timed chests consistently and be able to work towards the 4th without issue.

Actually, it is perfectly possible for a guild in between T4 and T5 to achieve three chests. Pookehs 15:00, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Confirmed. My guild is just breaking into tier 5 raids, and we down eagle and bear bosses in 4 minutes a piece, and usually get to the dragonhawk platform with 7 minutes left on the timer. Lidon 10:53, June 16 2008 (UTC)
