Teleport is a useful line of mage utility spells that allows the caster to transport themselves to a friendly capital city, sub-town or world PvP zone.

Ancient Teleports

Ancient Teleport: Dalaran will port the mage to Dalaran Crater, where the mage will fall approximately 150 feet, and without a slowing effect, the mage will take significant damage.

To obtain [Ancient Teleport: Dalaran]

• Fly to Scarlet Halls (right hand instance) set to Normal or Heroic mode.
• Make sure you kill the final boss,  Flameweaver Koegler, quickly and stand in front of him to block him burning his books.
  • Easily completed on normal mode at level 90.
• Loot [Ancient Tome] from the shelf just inside on the right. (If you look backwards towards the door, it's just on the left).
• Learn Ancient Teleport: Dalaran
• Optionally You can now buy one copy of  [Ancient Tome of Portal: Dalaran] (150) from Endora Moorehead <Magical Goods>^{[38.6, 53.8]}
  in the room to the left of the Violet Citadel steps) - though if someone has bought it recently, you might need to wait up to an hour for her to sell it again (limited supply).

Notes

• Each Teleport spell is trained at a portal trainer, who is usually located near the mage trainers in a capital city.
• In Shattrath the neutral portal trainer, Iorioa, is located in the center of the city, near the various city portals.
• In Darnassus the portal trainer is located in The Temple of the Moon. Level 30 required in Classic.
• In Classic the Theramore portal trainer does not exist. It was added in patch 2.4.2.
• This spell does not share the same cooldown timer as a Hearthstone.
• The mage will appear in the capital city near the portal trainer of that city. In Stormwind, for example, players appear inside the mage tower at the center of the Mage Quarter. This is the same location as is used by the mage Portal spells, and the Portals from Shattrath, Dalaran, and Ashran.
  • Mages cannot learn the teleport spells of the opposing faction.
  • Teleport cannot be cast in combat.
