Elinks for redlinks

Can we do whatever magic {{loot}} has so redlinks get the same behavior? I assume it's Javascript because I can't find it in the template code. i.e. [fake]. It would look kind of like this:

[fake] -> [fake] ω τ α /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 3:59 PM, 14 Jun 2009 (EDT)

First of all the template needs to work. --User:Gourra/Sig2 20:05, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
What's wrong with it? Looks okay to me, but I haven't given it a full checkup. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 7:08 PM, 14 Jun 2009 (EDT)
There's supposed to be a tooltip, but I don't see anything when hovering over the name. --User:Gourra/Sig2 23:13, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
It seems to lie in MediaWiki:Tooltips.js, but Pcj will have to add the function. --User:Gourra/Sig2 23:25, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Ah. I don't consider the Javascript part of the template. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 9:51 AM, 15 Jun 2009 (EDT)
Javascript is what makes tooltip in general on WoWWiki work you know, afaik. --User:Gourra/Sig2 14:02, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
I know - but I have no ability to edit the JS code. The reason I said "magic" at the beginning was because I wasn't sure if a style class was needed to trigger the JS, or if one could be used that already exists. All that jazz. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 10:05 AM, 15 Jun 2009 (EDT)
Well now you know that is the case. I took a look at the JS but it makes no sense to me... --User:Gourra/Sig2 14:08, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
MediaWiki:Tooltips.js doesn't support the {{ability}} template from what I can tell. Going to comment out part that suggests DB links or popups will show up. --Gengar orange 22x22.pngBeware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 12:19 AM PST 4 Nov 2009
