Beckett Massive Online Gamer presents: The Ultimate Guide to... was a special issue series of the magazine Massive Online Gamer, published by Beckett. These were an off-shoot of the main magazine which stayed on newsstands for several months, featured more pages, included a tear-out poster, and were focused exclusively on a single game's information, previews, guides, etc. There were four total issues in the series, with three of them pertaining to World of Warcraft, titled: The Ultimate Guide to World of Warcraft. (Issue #3 was The Ultimate Guide to Warhammer Online.)[1]
- Issue #1 (Spring 2008): This issue was focused on The Burning Crusade (BC) expansion, featuring 1-70 leveling guides for both Horde and Alliance, guides for each Burning Crusade raid, and class guides for every class with information on stat priority, play style, etc. This issue also includes a short Wrath of the Lich King (WOTLK) preview with several early screenshots and early concept art.
- Issue #2 (Winter 2008): This issue was focused on late-game BC content, including guides for Aldor & Scryer reputation, the Sunwell Plateau raid, crafting, and class guides for each class featuring complete build info and general tips. This issue also includes a short WOTLK preview with additional details about its new zones and Hunter pets, in addition to an interview with Jeffrey Kaplan from Blizzcon 2008.
- Issue #4 (Mar./Apr. 2009): This issue was focused on WOTLK, as it was released shortly after Patch 3.0.8. It contained WOTLK-centric guides for each class, crafting, pets, achievements, dailies, and a guide to the Naxxramas raid.
