Thousand Boat Bash

Thousand Boat Bash is a micro-holiday coming with Patch 7.1.5 that takes place on June 6 - 8 in eastern Thousand Needles. You will get a small, race-specific boat once you enter the event portion of the zone. The quests start on Fizzle & Pozzik's Speedbarge.

Types of small boats

• For blood elves: small, white, mastless boat
• For draenei: small white mastless rowboat
• For gnomes and goblins: riverboat
• For humans: small, mastless rowboat
• For night elves: small, mastless boat with stern lantern
• For orcs: small, metallic paddleboat with fore spikes?
• For pandaren: ?
• For tauren: wooden canoe
• For troll: hide canoe with fore/aft horns
• For undead: ?
• For worgen: small, wooden sailboat

Shipbuilding parts

The main end goal of the various quests and activities is to be able to assemble a [Small Boat] lasting 7 days which allows %330 surface water movement for up to 10 minutes at a time.

The ability to make the boat is called [Shipwrighting] and can be started with any of the ingredients:

  • Kill pirate NPCs for 6x [Flagons of Doublerum]
  • Gather 10x [Tankards of Grog]
  • Gather [Keg of Pirate Ale]

Remaining parts

20x [Submarine Tar] can be acquired by picking up [Tar-Covered Fish] or fishing from [Submarine Tar pools] that appear behind the submarine that patrols the area.
