Tick is a level 52 elite named bronze drake that guards the Caverns of Time with Chronalis after you encounter Occulus, in eastern Tanaris. Due to the addition of the new expansion, Cataclysm, Tick and her companion, Chronalis are no longer a threat to players. They are currently friendly NPCs that fly around the Caverns of Time entrance. However, Occulus is now remodeled as an infinite dragonkin and has been dubbed: Occulus the Corrupted.

In Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects, Tick helps take Thrall to meet the other dragonflights and see how he can help them like he helped Nozdormu. She takes him to meet Alexstrasza the Life-Binder and afterwords took him to the blue dragonflight. During the final battle Tick carried Thrall on her back and afterwords returned him to the Maelstrom.
In Dawn of the Aspects, Tick plays a minor role in its prologue Charge of the Aspects.
