The Twilight Grove is an area that sits in the middle of Duskwood.

History

This section concerns content exclusive to the Warcraft RPG, and thus unlikely to be canon.

Long ago, the great tree of the Twilight Grove was planted by followers of Fandral Staghelm from one of Nordrassil's branches in order to stem the tide of saronite seeping up from the land.

World of Warcraft

This section concerns content exclusive to World of Warcraft.

To get to it, come from the road North out of Stranglethorn Vale. When the road splits, go straight to coords 47.4, 65.5 and you will see the winding path that takes you up and into Twilight Vale. The area is guarded by the green dragons of Ysera's flight. It has a surprisingly night elven feel to it, and could very well be sitting dead in the middle of Ashenvale as opposed to in the middle of human lands. It is home to one of the four portals to the Emerald Dream. The other three portals are in Feralas, The Hinterlands, and Ashenvale. There is also a fifth in Crystalsong Forest in Northrend. ^{(LoM 98)} It also contained one of the Moonwells.

Legion

This section concerns content exclusive to Legion.

During the time when the Burning Legion launched its third invasion, the Dream Portal becomes active for druids, providing access to the Emerald Dreamway.

Notes

• It was guarded by the green dragons of Ysera's flight world bosses known as the Dragons of Nightmare. They could be found here prior to Catacysm Patch 4.0.3. Interestingly, this was the only of the four spawn points not to have any other dragonkin patrolling around. Instead, the Twilight Corrupter could be found skulking about in the back corner of the grove.
