Speculation[]
There is a possibility that, despite the difference in name, the Twinblade of the Phoenix could very well be Felo'melorn, the fabled sword of the Sunstrider Dynasty. This speculation is caused by the weapon's unique design, being the only one like it in-game. But after Legion was released where you could obtain the sword, this speculation was false.

This sword was upgraded to Item Level 141 in patch 2.2. It gained 6 minimum damage, 9 maximum damage, 1.9 DPS, 2 stamina, 2 attack power and 1 critical strike rating.
