Unbroken Darkweaver

An Unbroken Darkweaver

Were you looking for the short story Unbroken?

Unbroken are pink cousins of the underground faceless ones.

Though there has been some debates on the lore, the Unbroken seem to be a faction, branch, or subspecies of the faceless ones — a race freed from the underground layers of the planet when Illidan attempted to rip Northrend apart with the Eye of Sargeras.

Many believe that the faceless ones and these unbroken are servants of the Old Gods. Within the tunnels of the Inner Kingdom of the ancient nerubian ruins, Arthas and Anub'arak found a forgotten one. Though it has yet to be proven, these creatures may have been a small manifestations of the Old Gods trying to break free of their prison. Arthas and Anub'arak defeated it to get to Icecrown in a desperate race against Illidan for the Lich King.[1]

In Lands of Mystery and Dark Factions, "faceless ones" is the name of the race.

List of unbroken[]

  • Unbroken Darkhunter
  • Unbroken Darkweaver
  • Unbroken Rager

Notes[]

Unbroken[2] was initially used to categorize a race separate from the forgotten ones[3] race on the Warcraft III website. They both shared the same models. The only difference between the two was that the unbroken were pink and the forgotten ones were purple and had slightly different units.

However, in recent Warcraft RPG material, "faceless ones" has been used to describe the entire race. An article for faceless ones was to be released in Dark Factions but was removed in preparation for Wrath of the Lich King.[4]
