Tips

• Unholy Presence can be useful when running long distances on foot, such as when recovering from a wipe in an instance, as it increases the Death Knight's movement speed.

Background

Unholy Presence is likely derived from the Haste ability used by the Death Knight unit in Warcraft II and the Unholy Aura ability used by the unit in Warcraft III.

Patch changes

• Patch 5.4.0 (10-Sep-2013): Unholy Presence now grants a flat 10% Haste to all things, up from Haste for melee (attack speed and Rune regeneration) only. The movement speed buff remains unchanged.
  
• Patch 5.0.4 (28-August-2012): Updated.
  
• Patch 3.3.0 (08-Dec-2009): The animation for activating this presence will no longer also have the animation for Blood Presence played at the same time.
