Forgiveness vs Permission

Saw your note on Pcj's talk page, thought I'd pop over and provide one example of how to fix the problem. The {{clr}} template adds appropriate HTML to move what follows past floating items.

You might also examine the code on some other users' pages, for how they deal with userboxes. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 19:00, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, I'm working it out now. BobNamataki (talk) 23:17, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

I write in wikicode, not html. Does it still apply? BobNamataki (talk) 23:17, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

Your characters' articles

Your newly created article has been moved under your user namespace: User:BobNamataki/BobNamataki's guide to Rogue RP.

If your wish to create more, please set them yourself under your user namespace: User:BobNamataki/.....

The articles with No User:Name (mainspace) before them are strictly reserved to the Warcraft content, and wiki policy.

Have fun

Without your name being on it specifically, such a guide would belong under Category:Roleplaying, and probably under Category:Guides, and would not necessarily have to be in your namespace. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:18, October 5, 2009 (UTC)
You can't add directly into categories and I create the link on my page, create the page and remove it from my page. My namespace is for fanfic and stuff. BobNamataki (talk) 23:19, October 18, 2009 (UTC)

RE: My Edits

Are you changing my edits? The thing about Dusky Crab Cakes belongs and my references to the Darkspear tribe are correct. What are you doing? BobNamataki (talk)

For the Goey Spider Legs, yes, but for the trolls no.
You've written: "These Trolls are described as cunning and small while in mythology, Trolls are big and stupid." How can you considers beings tall from 180 to 215 cm "small"?
Think about the formulation of your edits please, many like Elder Atkanok, Stormwind City, Deadmines or Captain Ellis are redundant or sourceless (and some are (imo) useless).
IconSmall Hamuul.gif Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 12:15, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
On my other edits, I do not consider them small, they are described as the smallest Troll tribe. Research then talk. Someone has been undoing my Chef Grual related edits. I don't know how to source. On my Stormwind edits, you can't source those. Have you seen Stormwind? It is full of players all the time.
BobNamataki (talk)
To source something, add a link to your informations or a the name of a book, anything that can justify what you write.
And you too should "Research then" edit. (Elder Atkanok --> Tuskarr: Inspiration)
IconSmall Hamuul.gif Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 12:29, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
I do not consider my Stormwind edits to need a source. "Stormwind Trade District is the busiest." How can you source that. What do I say? Source: My Computer Screen?
You are undoing my edits! Kobolds speak low common and I know this. "Me Run!" is low common. BobNamataki (talk) 16:36, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
You are adding redundant informations, already contained in the Kobold article.

Re: Orcs

The reason of my revert is that you removed one image completely from the article, and left another image two times in the same article. I guess you can add the crest in the infobox but you must switch the image of the infobox with the image in the middle of the article as well. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 19:41, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Why couldn't you have made that simple edit instead of undoing everything and slowing my work? BobNamataki (talk) 20:28, October 3, 2009 (UTC)

Help Please

Thanks for agreeing to help me. My main idea is a new expansion called The Demonic Dimension. I need a logo, if you can find someone to do it, or if you can do it. You can find it by searching User:TheDmon/The Demonic Dimension, and leave a message on my talk page if you want to add an idea. Also, I am working on ideas for classes players want to be added. I noticed on your templates that you want Apothecary to be a playable class. If you give me some ideas, I can work on it for you.-TheDmon

I could add my ideas and you could keep them or remove or edit them. If you need a logo then I think photoshop can help but in the meantime you put four of these: ~ after you're done typing on talk pages. It automatically adds the date, time and user writing. BobNamataki (talk) 09:28, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

Awesome, thanks. Send me your ideas and i'll make sure of it. Also, can u find somebody to do a logo just in case i can't? I'd appreciate it. -TheDmon

About A'noob

I am an admin. What is the problem that you are having with A'noob, and what does ShandrisForever have to do with it? I thought that this was settled a while ago.--User:Sandwichman2448/Sig 20:37, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

Shandris was apparently complaining about A'noob. I decided to remedy the issue by asking what her problem was. Aparently she was denied admin status and that related to A'noob himself. I will inquire further into the matter, but to be honest, I'm just a middle man. Talk to A'noob and Shandris Forever. I believe they can answer you question for you. BobNamataki (talkcontr) 00:26, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

I think that was a while ago too, though ShandrisForever is still not an admin.--User:Sandwichman2448/Sig 00:31, November 5, 2009 (UTC)
The age of the query doesn't apply. All questions deserve answers. I was merely helping. She is not an admin for fear of power madness. She might take "revenge" against those who have undone her edits. Some of us prefer to ignore it at early stages as an editor. BobNamataki (talkcontr) 01:02, November 5, 2009 (UTC)
Ok. Madness and revenge are bad. Ignoring things can also be bad, as you should learn why edits were undone.--User:Sandwichman2448/Sig 01:11, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

No, what makes you think that? If it's the lack of comments, that's because I've archived those at User talk:Amberrock/Archive01. I hope that clears things up! IconSmall Amberrock.pngAMBER(ЯΘ<K) 15:51, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

Well, yeah. Some vandal actually put that on my talkpage last year (it's there on the archive). Me being a straight male, I found it hilarious to be referred to as a "vaginafucker". When I erected the quotes section on my user page as a testimony to my vanity, I couldn't resist to immortalize such a brilliant piece of childishness. Reason for Undo

Hey, the reason I undid you're revision was for a few reasons

  1. I personally think that posting that Spec/Class an Item is useful for is redundant.
    1. Even more so when it's a higher level weapon. Any level 70 that has leveled 70 levels usually knows what type of gear they're aiming for.
  2. I didn't completely agree with the Class suggestions either.

However, I do have a different message you for. I like you're edits, a lot of them. I think you're doing a great job overall and I would request you keep it up! --TeeSon5 (talk) 13:35, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Just a Friendly Reminder

I made a poll on Talk:Guide to bank alts that requested Deletion. However, due to some edits to the page, the poll has been voided and I started another one. Just a little reminder since you were one of the people that voted. If you still feel that you want the page removed feel free to submit you're vote along with me! TeeSon5 (talk) 21:09, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

RE: Link

If you are talking about typing in "Pcj" the "Search WoWWiki" box, and not in a [[link]], it goes to User:PCJ and not User:Pcj because that box is not case sensitive, unlike links, and it goes to PC before Pc.--User:Sandwichman2448/Sig 20:08, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Stubs again

Many of your last mainspace edits were just adding stubs to pages.[1][2][3] Please tell future editors of those pages what needs to be added. Again, add your reasons to the edit summary or talk page.--User:Sandwichman2448/Sig 20:29, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

You're stubbing many items that have nothing missing whatsoever... User:Coobra/Sig4 21:00, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Fine, but it tells you nothing of their functions. BobNamataki (talk) 21:56, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Their functions? User:Coobra/Sig4 22:00, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

As in what class would use them and so on. Copying a wow infobox is pretty much done by every site. BobNamataki (talk) 22:02, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

I feel that is self-explanatory, but if you feel they are necessary then feel free to add them. Just don't start stubbing items because they're lacking that. User:Coobra/Sig4 22:04, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Sorry. Theoretically if they're not needed, why do some pages have them? BobNamataki (talk) 22:05, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

... --PcjGamepedia wiki manager (TDrop me a line!

CSpecial:Editcount/Pcj contributions and counting) 22:06, November 21, 2009 (UTC) Pcj, please don't drop messages that I don't understand. I'm editing. By the way Coobra, why would lock my vanilla wow forum? BobNamataki (talk) 22:08, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Arguing why epic quality items are epic is a very pointless topic to discuss here. I probably won't lock it... unless it really starts to get out of hand. User:Coobra/Sig4 22:12, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

I was actually discussing why they're so easy to get. And why half of all loot is epic. Pulse Baton is epic. Why? BobNamataki (talk) 22:15, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

Adding something that is needed to conform to and complete a boilerplate is not the same as adding something to go above and beyond what a page needs to be basically complete. If a page is lacking something required for the former, it needs a stub. Ask Blizzard about the Baton.--User:Sandwichman2448/Sig 22:16, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

A few more notes on Stubbing articles. {{Stub/NPC}} is for friendly NPCs, {{Stub/Mob}} is for hostile mobs, {{Stub/Item}} is for items, loot, things that can be equipped, and {{Stub/Object}} is for physical objects (such as a mailbox), not items. Thank you, User:Coobra/Sig4 21:48, December 1, 2009 (UTC)

The Rebellion

What do they do exactly? BobNamataki (talk) 19:15, October 4, 2009 (UTC)

Lately? Nothing. They once tried to keep the peace between the Alliance and the Horde on Shadow Council, mostly by defending Alliance cities from Horde attacks, tipping off Horde cities of Alliance attacks, trying to steer the Alliance away from undefended Horde cities and tipping off the Alliance to Horde attacks. Now that Varian's back and has his mega-huge hard-on for killing the Horde once again... Well, the Rebellion is now not only considered a group based on TREASON, most RPers (at least that aren't in the Rebellion) don't take kindly to members of the Rebellion anymore.
