The Vault of the Wardens serves as a prison for those the night elf Wardens capture. It is located within the Broken Isles; prior to the events of World of Warcraft: Legion Gul'dan was shown before an imprisoned Illidan Stormrage, presumably setting him free.
Beginning demon hunters awaken here during the final stages of their starting quests.
