Veteran of the Third War (Passive) Passive Increases your haste and multistrike chance by 10%. While in combat, you generate 1 Runic Power per second. Increases your chance to dodge by 2%, and reduces your chance to be parried by 3%. Increases the damage of Death Strike by 100%.

Veteran of the Third War is a death knight ability learned at level 55 for death knights with the blood specialization.

Patch changes

• Patch 6.0.2 (14-October-2014): Veteran of the Third War now also reduces the chance for attacks to be parried by 3%.; Veteran of the Third War now increases Multistrike chance, and haste by 10% (instead of 9% to Stamina), reduces the chance for attacks to be parried by 3%, increases the damage of Death Strike by 100%, and grants 1 Runic Power per second while in combat.
  
• Patch 4.3.0 (29-Nov-2011): Veteran of the Third War now reduces the cooldown of Outbreak by 30 seconds.
  
• / Patch 4.0.1 (12-Oct-2010): Moved from regular talents to Blood tree specialization, increased stamina to 9% and no longer increases strength.
  
• Patch 3.2.0 (04-Aug-2009): Stamina bonus reduced to 1/2/3%.
