Villagers lived in Lordaeron's various villages, and many of them were helped by Arthas during his campaign against the Blackrock clan and the Scourge.[1] Arthas massacred many of them in Stratholme because they were infected by the Plague of Undeath.[2] Then Arthas became the Scourge champion and started killing many innocent villagers.[3] With the arrival of the Burning Legion, many more of them were killed.[4] After the Third War, many still survived as the last surviving villagers of Lordaeron intended to leave to the recently retaken city of Dalaran, however, Arthas killed them all before they could escape.[5]
