Prelude[]
After the destruction of the Eye of Sargeras and the rescue of Tyrande Whisperwind, Illidan Stormrage, fearing Kil'jaeden's wrath for failing to destroy the Frozen Throne, flees in exile to Outland. He is perused to Outland by Maiev Shadowsong and her Watchers. Sometime afterwords, Illidan is captured by the Watchers.
