Wednesday morning downtime is a period between 5am and 11am CEST (Paris Time)[citation needed] on a Wednesday morning when Blizzard Entertainment takes down all of the European World of Warcraft realms for weekly maintenance. As a result, no one can play World of Warcraft between 5am and 11am CEST (or whatever the downtime period is) on a Wednesday in Europe. These times can vary and are often shorter like 6am and 9am CEST (Paris Time).

- All World of Warcraft European realms will be closed from 05.00 to 11.00 (CEST Paris Time) for essential weekly maintenance. This is necessary for us to carry out routine inspection, testing and maintenance of our realm infrastructure. We plan to have the realms available as soon as this process is complete.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
